Klingon is a constructed language meant for a television series called Star Trek. The Klingons were created by screenwriter Gene L. Coon, and first appeared in the Star Trek episode "Errand of Mercy" (1967). They were named after Lieutenant Wilbur Clingan, who served with Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry in the Los Angeles Police Department. It is the only language that we have that did not develop naturally. Only a few people can understand the Klingon language well enough to speak in it or to actually terrify 'some or anyone' by using it with a perfect vocabulary. Klingon consists of around ~3000 thousand words. Our estimated figures shows that only 20, or up to 30 people, here on Earth, can speak it fluently. And frankly: It's a really powerful "nerd thing", to be able to speak it! .
